The Michaelmas Shelf

A small, curated shelf of eight copies, revealed together on Thursday evening. Each lot carries its full per-component condition and the usual evidence set. Nothing here is a lottery; it is simply a considered selection, shown at a set hour.

Before the reveal, each lot shows only what kind of copy it is and how it grades. Asking prices, full photo sets and the claim are open on Thursday evening, when the whole shelf appears at once.

The featured slot

The front table

One position on the shelf is the featured slot — the front table of the room. A seller can place a copy there for a drop, the way a bookseller gives a title pride of place in the window. It changes where a copy sits, never what it is: the same evidence set, the same per-component grading, the same direct settlement on PayPal Goods & Services.

A drop is something the venue does, not what it is. The board is always open underneath it; a copy is never harder to find because a shelf is being revealed elsewhere.

This drop is illustrative. The lots, the shelf and the reveal time are demonstration data; nothing here is for sale. The always-on board remains the primary way to find a copy — browse it any time.
